Join us for the Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run

On Saturday, the 28th of October, our beautiful backyard will again host the Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run.

This isn’t just any old trail run; it’s an off-road adventure that gives you exclusive access to epic trails across private land, set in the spectacular Cape Kidnappers we all know and love. Set on private land, the trails take you through windswept beaches, native forest and stunning coastal farmland – something not to be missed! We at Mortgage and Insurance Link Hawke’s Bay are thrilled to promote an event that fosters physical well-being, right here at home.

We all recognise the importance of our health, both as individuals and as a community. This trail run offers a unique opportunity to embrace the natural beauty of Cape Kidnappers while investing in your fitness and overall health and well-being. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or looking for a family-friendly event, this trail run has something to offer for all age groups and abilities (with event options of 32km run/walk, 21km, half-marathon, 15km run/walk or a 5km run/walk). This is a one-in-a-lifetime opportunity offering dramatic views and the ability to access places usually inaccessible to the public.

The Cole Murray Cape Kidnappers Trail Run is a holistic celebration of health, community, and environmental responsibility. Supporting the amazing Hawke’s Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust, the event has donated over $30,000 since 2018! Moreover, the event aligns with the global push towards sustainability. By removing disposable cups from aid stations and offering different bins for compost, recycling and rubbish, the event organisers are working hard to minimise their environmental footprint.

Here at Mortgage and Insurance Link Hawke’s Bay, we share your love for our region and understand the connection between health, well-being and a stable future. We’re proud to show our support for Cole Murray, the naming partner of this fantastic event, and encourage everyone to join in the fun and excitement.

So, lace up your running shoe, grab your reusable water bottle, and be a part of this epic adventure alongside other adventurous Kiwis!

You can find out more and sign up for the trail run over on the trail run website.
